Description: For more than 40 years, Kempenfelt Community Players (KCP), have offered rich and creative opportunities for generations of people in our community to experience musical theatre. Closer Than Ever, performed at the Ferndale Banquet Hall, took a musical look at everyday struggles in the modern world with resounding sincerity and precisely placed humour. Each song is a unique story told by a new character covering such diverse topics as security, aging, mid-life crisis, second marriages, working couples, and unrequited love. Performed by a cast of 4 talented singers/actors and accompanied by a live band, everyone involved contributed to an excellent show.
